Morgan Heater has focused on high-efficiency mechanical design for buildings since 2003, specializing in energy modeling for building energy use optimization, mechanical system design, and solar thermal systems. Mr. Heater has designed mechanical systems for multifamily residential, large commercial, hospitality, laboratory, and educational facilities.
Working directly with owners, architects and contractors Mr. Heater is a leading participant in the optimization of wholly integrated mechanical systems. His efforts are supported by building energy performance modeling employing eQuest and SEEM modeling software. Mr. Heater performs large energy simulation analyses for commercial buildings to identify potential energy efficiency measures for code and utility incentive programs. In addition to design work at Ecotope, Mr. Heater executes onsite and engineering verifications for impact evaluations, has worked as the technical liaison for utility incentive programs, and has assisted in building energy metering studies.
