TAKING SUSTAINABLE BUILDING TO SCALE REQUIRES AN EXPLICIT METHODOLOGY AND ANALYTICAL INFRASTRUCTURE.
Strategic Advisory Services:
Taking sustainable building to scale requires an explicit methodology and analytical infrastructure for aligning policies with specific targets and tracking progress in a consistent and informative manner. Ecotope provides strategic advisory services related to energy efficiency, carbon reduction, codes, and benchmarking. Our work in this area is often an integral component of our planning or research projects. We work with clients to develop holistic and data-driven strategies for achieving deep energy savings at the regional, state, municipal, utility, and individual building level.
Ecotope’s strategic advisory services are led by Poppy Storm, Director of Policy and Planning. Poppy has a Master’s Degree in Whole Systems Design and a Graduate Certificate in Business Leadership and Change Management from the Center for Creative Change at Antioch University. She uses holistic thinking, systems thinking, and design thinking to move beyond rhetoric and identify the deeper system dynamics and structural drivers for market animation and sustainable transformation of the building sector.
