It doesn’t happen very often that one of our Design Team projects gets built close to the office but this summer Ecotope will be front and center on the construction of the 4041 Roosevelt Building right next door. On a couple of lots formerly occupied by an old brick warehouse and a two story office building Runberg Architect and Vulcan Development are starting work on a seven-story mixed use building with 216 rental units. Ecotope provided mechanical and plumbing design assist services as well as full design of the innovative domestic hot water heat pump system. We will be keeping track of the building’s progress and posting photos periodically.
