Scott Spielman leads Ecotope’s Technology Transformation Team, helping to identify innovative design strategies, supporting manufacturers of emerging decarbonization technologies enter the market successfully, and assisting utilities in developing incentive programs to smartly invest in decarbonization. Scott has 8 years of industry experience which includes leading the design and demonstration of load shift capable central heat pump water heating systems, and assisting with the development of the Advanced Water Heating Specification and Qualified Products List for heat pump water heaters. Scott has a deep understanding of energy, creativity in workflow development and deploys his energy modeling, programming, and data analysis skills to support building performance evaluation. Scott’s project work has included hospitals, laboratories, offices, and multifamily buildings.
