If there is one thing that can be said about people who work at Ecotope, we love pies: baking them, eating them and competing over them. The Ecopie pie baking contest was born as a way to merge these interests. As engineers and researchers we have very specific guidelines about what constitutes a pie and rules of entry. Everyone bakes the same kind of pie but the filling rotates depending on the season. Friday we celebrated the squash season and received 8 entries. After many samples and three rounds of tasting Nick is our new winner. Nick’s win moves the crown back to the Policy corral. Cherry pie up next in June!
