Mechanical Project Engineer
Mitch Young is a Mechanical Project Engineer with Ecotope’s Design and Engineering Team. He leverages his background in engineering and interdisciplinary problem-solving to encourage thoughtful and collaborative approaches to real-world challenges in the built environment. Mitch engages his direct, hands-on experience from commissioning to navigate project tensions and create systems that work both in construction and for long-term operation. He uses his enthusiastic and intentional focus on wholistic sustainability to promote energy efficiency as a major decarbonization tool and helps the team navigate the evolving landscape of voluntary and legislative climate commitments in our built spaces.
